Preliminary Rounds (R1–R4)

• Preparation begins at 5:00 pm AEDT (1 hour preparation)

• Debate begins at 6:00 pm AEDT

• Speaking time: 2–4 minutes per speaker

Elimination Rounds (Finals)

• Debate 1: Preparation begins at 5:00 pm AEDT, Debate begins at 6:00 pm AEDT

• Debate 2: Preparation begins at 7:00 pm AEDT, Debate begins at 8:00 pm AEDT

  Please note that elimination rounds involve two debates held back-to-back on the same evening (e.g., Octo-Finals and Quarter-Finals or Semi-Finals and Grand Finals).
  Whether each division will proceed to the Octo-Finals or Quarter-Finals stage will be confirmed after the completion of preliminary rounds.

Please ensure your Zoom display name is correctly formatted before joining the meeting, as outlined in the IDC 2025 Tournament Guidelines. Please be in the lobby room AT LEAST 15 MINUTES before preparation time commences.
